IT SALES CONSULTANT

On behalf of our Client, a group of companies operating in the Cyprus market, mainly in the field of Information and Technology products, services and solutions and active in the fields of Energy and High-End Audio Systems, we are seeking to recruit a professional individual for the position of IT Sales Consultant.

Job Duties:

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Business Development, of the Limassol market, but not limited to, through a hardware, software and results-oriented approach. More specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas, amongst other:

  • Identifying potential customers and following up on existing customers
  • Applying his/her technical knowledge and sales expertise, to provide appropriate solutions to the client’s needs, within limited time constraints
  • Attending pre-sales meetings, preparing and presenting the organisation’s services and IT solutions to clients and prospective clients
  • Generating new business by targeting possible market segments and/or specific organisations and working through his/her own personal corporate network
  • Following up on potential projects and closing the deal
  • Staying up to date with market trends and new technology / software / solutions
  • Formulating and submitting relevant proposals to clients
  • Preparing reports and suggestions to the organisation’s top management, to keep them informed on sales progress
  • Liaising with the General Manager and Sales Team to develop winning strategies and action plans with the purpose of addressing various complex projects

 Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Engineering / Management Information Systems or in Business Administration or in any other relevant field from a reputable University
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with , strong technical knowledge and experience in hardware / software solutions
  • A proven sales track record of delivery and success
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and the English languages
  • Computer literacy
