Our client is the leading company in Cyprus and globally in lift industry.
A Sales Service Person in the lift (elevator) industry is a specialized role bridging technical maintenance with client-facing sales, responsible for selling service contracts, repairs, and modernization projects. They are key in driving growth for service businesses by acquiring new customers and managing existing portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
-Service & Modernization Sales: Selling maintenance contracts and upgrading old systems (modernization).
-Customer Care & Advice: Acting as the first contact for clients, providing advice, and conducting site visits to determine needs.
-Preparation and submission of repair and service upgrade quotations to customers
-Follow-up on quotations for clarifications, negotiations, and closing of sales
-Meetings with customers to present and explain the technical aspects of quotations
-Understanding customer needs and proposing suitable repair or upgrade solutions
-Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
-Supporting the service sales process from quotation stage through to completion
-Technical Surveys: Assessing equipment to prepare accurate proposals and pricing for repairs.
-Contract Management: Handling the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
-Relationship Management: Liaising between technicians (who provide hands-on service) and building owners/managers
Required Qualifications
-Industry Expertise: Strong technical understanding of elevator systems, safety regulations, and building codes is highly desirable.
-Sales Acumen: Proven B2B sales experience, including lead generation and CRM management.
-Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical problems and solutions to clients.
-Background: Often requires a technical background in electronics or mechanical engineering, or previous experience in construction/capital equipment.
