Accounting Manager

Required Qualifications

  • Very good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation, including VAT requirements.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a similar position is essential.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Pleasant, dynamic and positive personality.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • High level of responsibility, consistency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and experience of the BTMS accounting software will be considered an additional advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with International Accounting Standards and applicable tax legislation.
  • Managing and monitoring the day-to-day accounting operations and activities of the company.
  • Issuing and processing customer invoices.
  • Performing regular bank reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of bank records.
  • Performing customer account reconciliations and monitoring outstanding balances.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns and VIES declarations.
  • Monitoring and following up on customer collections and outstanding receivables.
  • Maintaining the company’s accounting books and records accurately and up to date.
  • Preparing the accounting records and supporting documentation for the annual audit and year-end closing process in cooperation with the company’s external auditors.

Remuneration – Benefits:

–€2.100 to €2.300 gross salary

-13th salaries

– Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
