BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Building Materials Industry)

Our client is One of the leading Groups in Cyprus.

Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in the building materials sector. This role involves strategic planning, market expansion, partnership development, and driving revenue growth through a deep understanding of the industry and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy within the building materials industry.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets (B2B and B2C).

Build strong relationships with architects, contractors, construction companies, developers, and distributors.

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.

Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with the company’s profitability and growth targets.

Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry-related conferences.

Monitor project pipelines and follow up on leads to ensure timely conversion.

Provide regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Architecture, experience in sales or related field.

-Proven experience (3–5+ years) in business development or sales within the building materials or construction industry.

-Strong knowledge of the local and regional construction market.

-Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

-Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

-Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is a plus.

-Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).

-Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
