We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join the Technical / Engineering Department of a well-established company operating in the construction and engineering sector.
The position is office-based and is suitable for a Civil Engineer with strong technical knowledge, good organisational skills and an interest in engineering design, technical documentation and project support.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of technical and construction drawings
- Preparation of technical documentation, specifications and reports
- Preparation of quantities, BOQs and material take-offs
- Preparation and support of quotations and tenders
- Reviewing architectural and structural drawings
- Technical coordination with architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
- Supporting project planning and coordination
- Carrying out technical calculations and providing engineering support
- Monitoring project documentation and technical requirements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations
- Providing technical support to the Project and Construction Teams
Requirements
- University Degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience in a technical office, engineering company or construction environment will be considered an advantage
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of structural/design software will be considered an advantage
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials and technical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Very good knowledge of English and Greek
