Our client is an established company based in Nicosia, active in the trade and distribution of laptops, pcs and hardware. They are seeking a person with a passion for technology to take on this position.
Hardware Expertise:
A strong understanding of laptop components (motherboard, CPU, RAM, storage, display, keyboard, battery, etc.) is essential. This includes knowledge of their functions, how they interact, and how to diagnose issues related to each component.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and common software applications is crucial for troubleshooting software-related problems.
Networking Knowledge:
Understanding basic networking concepts, including wired and wireless connections, is important for diagnosing network-related issues.
Diagnostic Tools and Software:
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for hardware and software testing is necessary.
Disassembly and Reassembly:
The ability to disassemble and reassemble laptops, including removing and replacing parts like screens, keyboards, and motherboards, is a core skill.
Soft Skills:
Problem-Solving:
The ability to analyze technical issues, identify the root cause, and develop effective solutions is paramount.
Troubleshooting:
