FACTORY MANAGER – MECHANICAL ENGINEER

A factory manager with a mechanical engineering background is a management professional responsible for overseeing a factory’s operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production by applying their mechanical engineering expertise to production processes, quality, and technical challenges. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage teams and resources to meet production targets and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
-Responsible for adhering to the preventive maintenance schedule of production equipment
-Inspection of production equipment to ensure proper operation and recording of observations in the malfunction report
-Effective and timely response to mechanical failures for problem resolution
-Coordination – inspection – repair of equipment
-Installation of new machinery
-Recording and maintaining logs related to machine repair, maintenance, and spare parts usage
Qualifications
-Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment and/or factory with a production line
-Holder of a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
-Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
-Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
-Proficiency in Greek and English
-Dynamic personality with strong organizational skills
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Benefits:
–Monthly gross salary: €3.000, depending on qualifications and experience.
–13th salaries
–14th salary (83.33% of the regular salary)
–6% Pension Fund after completing one year with the company
–21 days of annual leave (including Easter, Christmas, and 3 weeks in August when the company is closed)
–Work Monday – Friday (38 hours per week),
