(FM 9597V5NI)-NICOSIA
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee our client financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective financial management, smooth day-to-day operations, compliance, and reliable reporting to guide decision-making. The Finance Manager will act as second-in-command within the finance department, taking responsibility for core functions and supervising the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
-Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
-Monitor financial performance against budgets and highlight variances, risks, and opportunities.
-Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and operational planning.
2. Financial Operations & Control
-Manage day-to-day finance operations including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow.
-Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions and documentation.
-Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
3. Reporting & Compliance
-Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts.
-Support statutory reporting, tax compliance, and external audits.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cypriot financial regulations and accounting standards.
4. Team Leadership & Development
-Supervise and guide finance officers and accountants, ensuring tasks are delivered effectively and on time.
-Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
-Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the department.
5. Business Support
-Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial tracking of projects.
-Provide financial input to support tendering, contract evaluation, and new business initiatives.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-Master’s degree or MBA.
-Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) highly preferred.
-Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including supervisory responsibilities.
-Strong knowledge of Cypriot tax laws, financial regulations, and IFRS.
-Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Navision, or similar).
-Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
-A collaborative and hands-on leader, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Remuneration – Benefits:
-Up to 3.300€ Gross salary (based on previous experience)
