Automotive Health & Safety Officer

We are looking for a certified, experienced, and responsible Health & Safety Officer to oversee and implement health and safety procedures at our client’s facilities, including vehicle workshops, body shops, spare parts warehouses, and showrooms
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring the company’s full compliance with all applicable Health & Safety legislation and regulations, while developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote a safe and healthy working environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
The role also involves conducting regular inspections and risk assessments across all company facilities, in collaboration with the company’s external Health & Safety partners, in order to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Key Responsibilities
The Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for investigating accidents, incidents, and hazardous situations, preparing relevant reports, and monitoring the implementation of corrective actions. In addition, he/she will organize and coordinate staff training on safety procedures, equipment handling, fire safety, first aid, and emergency response procedures, promoting a strong culture of prevention and safety within the organization.
As part of the role, he/she will work closely with Management, workshop supervisors, and other company departments to continuously improve working conditions and ensure the proper use of equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Furthermore, the successful candidate will monitor and manage environmental compliance matters related to workshop operations, including waste management, chemical substances, and hazardous materials handling.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a Health & Safety Officer certification and possess excellent organizational and communication skills, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to take initiative. A solid understanding of relevant Health & Safety legislation is considered essential, along with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a demanding and dynamic environment.
Previous experience in an industrial, technical, or automotive environment will be considered a significant advantage. Excellent command of both Greek and English, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, are also required for the position.

-Hours: Mon–Fri (8:00 -13:00 & 14:00 – 17:00) on Fri until 16:30
