MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Our client is the leading and rapidly expanding GROUP in Cyprus a. They are seeking to appoint a Sales Engineer based in Limassol.

Our client is seeking an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to lead the electrical product sales department, with the goal of expanding and strengthening the team and improving sales performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop, guide, and manage the sales team, ensuring the implementation of processes and monitoring tools to maximize team performance.

Maintain professional and exemplary behavior towards customers, salespeople, and partners, fostering trust and collaboration.

Set routes and visit schedules to optimize time management and enhance the productivity of salespeople.

Be responsible for achieving monthly and annual sales targets in line with the company’s management strategies and directives.

Support and train the sales team, promoting professional growth and encouraging collaboration and innovation.

Develop and manage the existing customer base, monitor the performance of key accounts, and ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

Ensure compliance with the company’s commercial and credit policies, making sure customers stay within credit limits.

Handle offers and discounts according to customer agreements, and update the supervisor weekly on their progress.

Prepare, analyze, and interpret performance indicators to provide recommendations and implement corrective actions to meet company goals.

Identify new customers and continuously monitor the market, staying informed about trends and developments to drive sales growth.

Monitor product stock levels and promptly inform the supervisor to avoid shortages.

Provide sales forecasts for seasonal products and those with increased demand during specific periods.

Collect and analyze information about the competition, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and shape strategies to boost sales and profitability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical) or related field.

Work experience in the field of construction or manufacturing will be considered an advantage.

Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. 

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team and with other departments.

Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).

Excellent command of Greek and English.

Remuneration – Benefits:

Starting Salary: From €1,700 to €2.000

13th and 14th Salary (Christmas and Easter bonuses)

Provident Fund after 6 months of employment (employer contribution: 5.25%)

Continuous training / Participation in educational programs

21 days of annual leave, increasing with years of service
