Sales Development Manager (Food Industry)

Qualification Requirements:
-BS/MS degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Public Relations or any other related to Sales field from an accredited College/University.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
-Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-Excellent Knowledge of the Food and Beverage Market.
-At least 3-5 years of prior work experience in a similar position, preferably in the Food and Beverage Sector.
-Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
-Strong organization, time management skills and high attention to detail.
-A proven ability to achieve sales objectives/targets.
-Self-motivated, pro-active, self-confident and a team player.
-Able to motivate the team and lead by example.
Job Responsibilities:
-The Sales Development Manager is responsible for the sales and development of all Customers and the acquisition of new Customers in order to increase the customer base.
-Develop, implement and maintain effective sales strategies, in accordance with the company’s strategic objectives.
-Negotiate all trading terms and conditions, including agreements and promotions, with Customers, in line with agreed sales budgets and subject to approval by the Sales Manager.
-Responsible for the supervision and support of Sales force, merchandisers, promoters, and delivery to increase performance levels.
-Regular trade and customer visits/ market knowledge Trade data collection and retail audit performance analysis.
-Sales Training & Presentations, Promo Activities Evaluation.
-Understand the needs and preferences of customers and provide appropriate product recommendations.
-Prepare and present product demonstrations and sales presentations to potential customers and/or internal executives.
-Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.
-Proactively seek new business opportunities for growth in the market and provide advice to the management.
-Monitor sales against agreed targets on a regular basis to ensure they are being met and where necessary the need for remedial actions is identified, reported and implemented.
