FINANCIAL MANAGER or ACCOUNTING MANAGER

The Financial Manager or Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the Company’s finance and administration functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, and compliance with Group policies and Cyprus regulations. The role oversees accounting, budgeting, treasury, payroll, taxation, and administrative operations while supporting the Company’s business objectives through strong financial control and efficient business processes.
KEY RESULT AREAS/PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Financial Manager or Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, effective budgeting and cash flow management, compliance with financial, tax, labour, and statutory requirements, efficient payroll and administrative operations, strong internal controls, timely Group reporting, and the continuous improvement of finance and administration processes to support the Company’s operational and business objectives.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Own the full accounting cycle and month-end/year-end close under IFRS and Cyprus statutory rules, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Maintain inventory and cost accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods), including product costing and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and the Group reporting package, and reconcile all intercompany balances.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, and manage liquidity, banking, and FX within the Group’s authority limits.
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing; manage the statutory audit and external advisors.
• Maintain internal controls and report financial risks
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Qualification*
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
Experience*
– 4-7 years of experience in a finance, operations, or commercial role within manufacturing environment
– Working knowledge of Accounting Software (or equivalent)
– Strong communicator who translates numbers into decisions
Remuneration – Benefits:
- Salary: 39.000 – 47.000 (yearly gross) payable in 13 equal monthly installments.
- Working days: Monday to Friday (total working hours are 38 per week)
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (includes a 30-minute break).
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (no break).
- Annual vacation: 21 days per year
