Our client is One of the leading companies in Cyprus in food industry.
A Health, Safety, Quality, and Compliance Manager oversees and manages all aspects of health, safety, quality, and compliance within an organization. This role ensures the organization meets regulatory requirements, implements and maintains management systems, and fosters a culture of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for implementing and executing inspection, testing, and evaluation methods to ensure that products adhere closely to company safety standards
-Develops effective safety and quality control policies and procedures
-Communication, attending and solving potential customer complaints in regards to product quality issues
-Responsible for the employees’ training and ensures that employees implement policies and procedures properly
-Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
-Keep accurate documentation, submit / present detailed reports to appropriate executives/ regulators / inspectors
-Responsible for ensuring company’s policies and procedures comply with regulations and ethical standards
-Foresees the possibility of an emergency occurring and carries out measures to prevent such from occurring
-Ensures the maintenance of a well-stocked first aid and emergency center in case of an emergency
-Prepare and attend all audits certificates
-Perform any other task related to the role, following CEO instructions
Qualifications:
-2–5 years of experience
-Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations: Understanding health and safety laws, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
-Experience in developing and implementing management systems: Familiarity with ISO standards.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
-Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
-Project management skills: Ability to manage projects related to health, safety, quality, and compliance.
