JUNIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Our client is one of the leading and rapidly expanding companies in the Air Condition sector (the most well-known brands globally) that focuses just in B2B. They are seeking to appoint a Junior Mechanical Engineer based in Nicosia τo train him so that he can become an Assistant Project Manager within the next two years.
An HVAC Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and closing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects. They ensure projects are completed on time and within budget by assisting with scheduling, material procurement, subcontractor coordination, and documentation (RFIs, submittals)
Key Responsibilities:
-Project Planning & Scheduling: Create and monitor detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
-Documentation & Administration: Prepare, log, and manage project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
-Cost Control & Procurement: Assist with budget monitoring, review job costs/invoices, and manage procurement of materials and equipment.
-Field Coordination: Collaborate with field staff, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution, often conducting site visits to check on progress.
-Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure installations follow project specs, drawings, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred, though equivalent experience is often accepted.
-1 year experience
-English fluency
-Self motivated and passionate
-Skills: Strong organization, communication, and multitasking abilities
Remuneration – Benefits:
– 1.500€-1.800€ gross salary (experience counts)
-13th salary
-COLA (Cost of Living Allowance).
-21 days of paid annual leave.
