MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – FP PRO

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with proven experience in using FP PRO software for the design, estimation, and costing of aluminium window, door, and façade systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Engineering: Use FP PRO software to prepare architectural drawings, calculate aluminium profiles, glazing, hardware, panels, and perform dimensional calculations.
- Production Optimization: Optimize material usage and cutting plans through the FP PRO Suite to minimize waste and improve production efficiency.
- Technical Support & Quotations: Review customer requirements, prepare technical documentation, and produce technical and commercial quotations.
- Data Management: Maintain and update profile libraries, styles, and technical databases within the FP PRO software.
- Production Coordination: Act as the link between the technical office and the factory by transferring production data directly to CNC machining centres through FP CAM.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience using FP PRO or equivalent Emmegi / FP Suite software (e.g. FP Facade).
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in the design of aluminium systems, metal constructions, or related engineering projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
