MECHANICAL ENGINEER SUPERVISOR

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team, one of the largest construction companies in the field of mechanical installations.
The successful candidate will play an active role in managing technical and operational aspects related to the installation of HVAC systems, water supply, drainage, firefighting systems, and BMS systems in building projects.
The position requires hands-on site experience, excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, and the ability to coordinate effectively between teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervision and management of mechanical works on construction sites (HVAC, water supply, drainage, firefighting, BMS).
-Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical documents to guide installation teams.
-Coordination with foremen, subcontractors, engineers of other disciplines, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress.
-Providing technical support to resolve design or installation issues.
-Conducting inspections and quality controls, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
-Participation in testing and commissioning procedures.
-Preparation of material and equipment quantity take-offs, procurement schedules, and technical submissions.
– Contribution to method statements and risk assessments for safe execution of works.
-Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and technical staff.
Requirements:
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
-Minimum 4 years of experience in construction sites and mechanical installation projects.
-Experience in project coordination and collaboration with multidisciplinary technical teams.
-Good knowledge of applicable standards and regulations (ASHRAE, EN, ISO, local regulations).
-Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel). Experience in AutoCAD and Revit will be considered an advantage.
-Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent command of Greek and very good command of English.
-Membership with ETEK or an equivalent professional body is desirable.
